Our Setup

We will be at crisis capacity shortly. PLEASE watch our Petfinder if you are interested in adopting - we will be listing about 73 rats in the next few weeks. We NEED fosters, ESPECIALLY quarantines at this time. We also are seeking SMALL bar-spaced cages at this time.

Things have been changed around so much recently, as we acquire bigger and better cages. We've also recently changed our storage shelving. We'll get a good photo-shoot up soon of the way things look now. For now, here are some photos taken of previous cage set-ups to give you an idea of how the RLR rats live.

Below is an example of how our 2 Martin's cages (a R-695 and R-690) are often decorated. (Click for larger photos!) We generally use the Martin's and some varieties of Super Pet cages, but have many cages of other brands that are sometimes used. All of our cages have been donated. We are always on the lookout for larger cages (we have more than enough small or unsuitable cages!!).
