Surrender Rats

We will be at crisis capacity shortly. PLEASE watch our Petfinder if you are interested in adopting - we will be listing about 73 rats in the next few weeks. We NEED fosters, ESPECIALLY quarantines at this time. We also are seeking SMALL bar-spaced cages at this time.

We will be in crisis capacity and can NOT take in ANY more rats at this time. We would be more than happy to post a courtesy posting on our Petfinder site, for those who must rehome their rats. Please contact us to do this.

We do not take rats directly from a pet store. Please do not contact us about rats you've seen at a pet store. We also do not take in rats from purposely-bred litters. Rats surrendered to Rattie Love Rescue must be in good health and have a good temperament in most cases, though we may take special cases on (PLEASE let us know in ADVANCE!). We have had success with rats who have cage aggression or are fearful and will accept them on a case-by-case basis.

We can not pay for rats to come into the rescue.
