Supplies Wish List

We will be at crisis capacity shortly. PLEASE watch our Petfinder if you are interested in adopting - we will be listing about 73 rats in the next few weeks. We NEED fosters, ESPECIALLY quarantines at this time. We also are seeking SMALL bar-spaced cages at this time.

We are always in need of supplies! There are two ways to donate supplies. The quickest way for you may be our Amazon Wishlist.

Below is a list of our most-needed supplies. If you need our snail address, or would like to drop off supplies, please let us know. If you have something else not listed that we may be able to use, let us know. Thanks!

• Newspaper (Yep, just plan old newspaper... We like to line the bottom of the pans with it, so if you save up your read papers, PLEASE considering donating it!)
• Fleece, flannel and cotton (baby blankets, old cloth baby diapers, panels of fabric, or scraps)
• Towels of all sizes (new or gently used, please)
• Bedding (NOT pine or cedar!); CareFresh (or other brands of the same type), Aspen and rabbit pellets [food] are our favorites, but we will accept any usable bedding
• Small animal toys and housing (plastic or wood)
• Bird toys (all sizes and kinds)
• Chew sticks (commercial or natural - small animal safe)
• Large (11 inches or bigger) wheels (none wire unless it's a mesh wire)
• Cages of all shapes and sizes (rat, ferret, small animal sizes, power-coated preferred)
• Small animal carriers and small animal cages for transports
• Hammocks of all shapes and sizes
• Water bottles
• Food bowls/plates (commercial pet or baby/toddler plastic)
• Plastic baskets and hamster "balls" that can be hung in cages
• Utility/shower curtain hooks or s-hooks for hanging hammocks, etc
• Baby food (all varieties of jars, boxed cereals)
• Harlan Teklad lab blocks
• Ultra Premium Dog Foods (We prefer Wellness but aren’t picky!)
• Batches of Suebee's Mix
• Snack/treat” foods (we prefer not to feed commercial variety treats, but things like dried fruit with no sugar added, semi-sweet chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, plain rice cakes, “finger foods” for [human] babies and day-old plain bagels are great!)
• Nutrical, Nutristat, or Ferritvite
• White vinegar
• Dish soap
• Laundry detergent and Oxyclean
• Hydrogen Peroxide
• Paper towels
• Garbage bags of all sizes
• Zip ties and twist ties
• Plastic containers with lids (keeps us organized!)
• Gift cards (Kroger, Target, Wal-Mart, Biggs, PetsMart, Amazon, Online Certificates, Etc)
